St Joseph’s Care Home

St Joseph's Care Home, dedicated to providing exceptional care for the elderly, enlisted Auburn to enhance their facilities. Auburn’s expertise in healthcare refurbishments played a crucial role in the project, which began with a thorough assessment of the care home. This assessment focused on optimising electrical and mechanical systems, reviewing fire safety systems, ensuring building integrity with essential fire stopping measures, evaluating the feasibility of a 22-bed wing extension, and inspecting external windows and the roof for insulation, security, and weather protection.

The first phase of the refurbishment concentrated on the back-of-house areas, particularly the kitchen and laundry rooms. Despite the challenges of working within a live environment, Auburn Group successfully modernised these critical spaces with minimal disruption to residents.
