Auburn Group have been awarded the PCSA for the Old Rectory Project, a landmark initiative by the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham, transforming the former library into a facility to enhance the lives of young people requiring specialised care.

The Old Rectory initiative is for the social development of young people, specifically those who are non-verbal and require specialised care. The focus is to nurture their ability to self-regulate, enhance their potential for independent living, and fostering family integration and well-being.

Auburn Group's commitment to this project involves ensuring that the Old Rectory is equipped with the best facilities for both young people and staff, including psychologists, occupational therapists, and speech & language therapists.

We will embark on this transformative journey to make the Old Rectory not only fit for purpose but future-proof for the community and the people that need it most. To in turn create a space where young people can thrive in a supportive environment, cultivating their independence and enhancing family bonds.
