Greatfields Zone 2b

The Client engaged Auburn to complete the build works, snags, and defect rectification at the Greatfields 2B secondary school following the previous Principal Contractor entering administration.

The contract involved investigating and surveying the existing build works for the specialist Art Room facilities. This also included the scope for rectification works following a flood. Auburn then developed and implemented plans for flood damage, flood preparation, and commercial flooring specialists to mitigate risks of latent defects.

Our expert logistics and management operatives were key to delivering a successful project. Excessive moisture in the existing floor build and internal partitions increased the work. However, our off-site solutions allowed us to deploy with minimal school disruption and safety concerns. Key to this was Auburn’s out-of-school hours and weekend work.

During the contract, Auburn was awarded separate contracts for the removal of the previous Principal Contractor’s site setup and rectifying defects to the 10FE building. Our adept team ran these works concurrently and were completed on time.
